On the morning of May 13th, Professor Sun Shuyang, Director of the Translational Medicine Research Office for Oral and Maxillofacial Tumors at Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, delivered an academic report titled "Disease Model Cohorts and Precision Diagnosis and Treatment of Oral and Maxillofacial Tumors" to the faculty and students of our School of Stomatology. The session was hosted by Dean Yuan Changqing of the School of Stomatology, with school leaders and representatives in attendance.

Professor Sun's report focused on the disease model cohorts of oral and maxillofacial tumors, providing a comprehensive overview of the current status of diagnosis and treatment research, along with existing challenges from theoretical foundations, experimental research, integration of clinical needs, and translational research. Following the report, Professor Sun engaged in an interactive Q&A session with the attending faculty and students, fostering a lively and insightful discussion on the integration of basic research with clinical needs.
